There is a subgroup of people who will spontaneously develop bruising in the palm side fingertip of a finger. It is a known syndrome – so don’t think you are crazy..

- “associated with Raynaud phenomenon and a history of chilblains”
- often “first and second phalanges of the third or second fingers of the dominant hand” – on volar (palm) side
- attacks associated with digital pain and swelling
Comment – no mentioned treatment so just put up with it – though I wonder if a clotting agent like estrogens would help….. If you have this and mention that this was helpful as I suspect many just suffer without explanation…
So I’m investigating and I think this is what I’m suffering from and it’s miserable
