Migraines – More and Longer Attacks Might Mean Early Hardening of Arteries

  • Mean Common Carotid Artery Intimal thickness values –  0.493 ± 0.074 mm in migraine;  0.409 ± 0.053 mm in controls.
  • They felt artteriosclerosis was an inflammatory condition and more migraine issues co-existed with more inflammation

Comment – confirms issues of not using Triptans over age 65 because of cardiovascular risks…
