Post Herpetic Neuralgia – Peripheral Nerve Stimulators

I have heard of peripheral nerve stimulators used in cases before but this additional one makes it more mainstream. This one captured control with high frequency

  • refractory left supraorbital neuralgia
  • preferred high-frequency paresthesia-free stimulation (HFS) at an amplitude of 6.2 mA, a frequency of 100-1200 Hz, and a pulse width of 130 μsec to low frequency which causes more paresthesia
  • Pain declined from 8/10 to 1/10

Comment – exciting possibilities if they can last longterm..
