Menstrual Cramps – “Marked Reduction” Following 3 Month Omega 3

Omega 3 improved menstural cramp pains and need for ibuprofen after 3 months use.

  • One omega-3 capsule (comprising 180 mg of eicosapentaenoic acid plus 120 mg of docosahexaenoic acid) daily for 3 months
  • Results:

Comment – three months of a trivial dose omega 3 can cut cramp pains in 1/2. Less well controlled trials found benefit in Fibromyalgia.
